Dear parents,
There is no greater gift than seeing your children grow and observing their development. In our preschool, we take these precious moments to our hearts and take great care in preparing each year’s curriculum with the utmost care and consideration. Each content we carefully select is aimed towards your child’s mental and physical development, so that these youngest members of our society can become strong and open-minded individuals. We are well aware that together with parents, we are setting an example to all children. It is this example that will form their views of the world, their core values, and their many future relationships. This is the reason why the main goals of our education focus primarily on human values, positive attitude towards life, nature, health, cultural heritage, and personal relationships.

Our Vision
The goal of Pedenjped Preschool is to provide children with optimal conditions in which they can develop their potentials and freely express their ideas, knowledge, skills, creativity – a place where they can develop their critical thinking and become responsible individuals of our society. That is why we participate in national and international projects that help us fully integrate preschool education goals. We proudly hold titles of ECO-PRESCHOOL (Eko šola), FOREST KINDERGARTEN (Gozdni vrtec), and UNESCO-PRESCHOOL (Unesco vrtec). Through these projects, we help children develop their sensitivity towards the environment, culture, language, and differences in the world by introducing nature, ecology, and multiculturalism into our daily routine. By participating in the WINNING WITH VALUES programme (Zmagujemo z vrednotami), we are stimulating children to be aware of their personal responsibility towards their social and natural environments. By participating in the HEALTH AT PRESCHOOL programme (Zdravje v vrtcu), we are promoting well-being and social skills as important values with children and adults.
International projects under the ERASMUS programme as well as the TOURISM AND PRESCHOOL programme (Turizem in vrtec) give us the opportunity to join with others in exploring Slovenia and foreign countries. While doing our best to achieve our goals, parents also play an important role as our supporters and partners and remain ever-present in building and improving the quality of our preschool and its environment.
